Withdrawal Policy:
At the Ballet Victoria Conservatory, our classes are designed as a full-year program running from September through June. We intentionally keep our class sizes small to maintain strong teacher-to-student ratios and ensure each dancer receives individual attention. Because of this, every class spot is valuable and may be offered to another student if it becomes available. Tuition is owing even when students are away for any reason.
For this reason, we require a minimum of one month’s written notice to withdraw from classes. The official withdrawal form (or equivalent written notice) must be submitted at least one calendar month prior to a student’s final date of attendance. Tuition remains payable for the final calendar month following receipt of the withdrawal notice. If notice is received after the first of the month, the subsequent month will also be charged.
Once a student withdraws or takes an extended leave, we cannot guarantee that their space in the class will remain available. Re-enrollment is subject to space availability and appropriate class placement at the time of return. Rare exceptions may be considered in cases of extenuating circumstances at the discretion of the Artistic Director.
Our goal in maintaining this policy is to ensure fairness to all families and to preserve the consistency and integrity of our training environment. If you have any questions or would like clarification before submitting notice, we encourage you to contact the BVC office.
