Description:
Join us at the Ballet Victoria Conservatory for a week full of different types of dance, arts and crafts, story time and a whole lot of imagination! BVC offers its yearly “Tiny Tots Dance Camp” at the end of June. This is an exciting week for our future dancers and the perfect camp to learn and sample all different styles of dance before September! Students will participate in daily crafts, play games and of course, dance the day away!

(S2) JUNIOR SUMMER DANCE CAMP
Rate: $250 for the week

Description:
Join the Ballet Victoria Conservatory Junior Summer Dance Camp for a fun week of dance! Students will learn all styles of dance including Ballet, Jazz and dance conditioning. Dancers will be split into Groups A and B, depending on age/level.

Description:
The Ballet Victoria Conservatory is now offering a new, one-week summer intensive for students interested in pursuing our intensive program in the Fall! Students will train under Ballet Victoria’s professional dancers and our head BVC faculty in this exciting week of dance. The program will focus on preparing these young dancers for our school’s intensive program and will take daily classes in Ballet, Jazz and Contemporary. Our class sizes will be kept small to ensure individual attention to all students. If your child is looking to enter, or continue with the BVC Intensive stream, this program is a must!

(S3) SUMMER INTENSIVE
Registration Fee: $100 non-refundable registration fee (will be applied towards tuition)
Course Fees:
Regular – $2,000 ($1,900 with registration fee)
Dates: July 2 – 26, 2024 (4 weeks) 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Prerequisites:
Minimum of two years ballet experience for Junior level and minimum 5 years-experience for Intermediate and Advanced levels. Placement will be made upon registration by Andrea Bayne.
Train with Ballet Victoria’s top professional dancers! The Ballet Victoria Conservatory offers a unique four-week summer intensive for levels from junior to advanced students aged 8+. This program is led by the BVC’s Ballet Master/Ballet Victoria’s Artist in Residence, Andrea Bayne and Paul Destrooper, the company’s Artistic Director, alongside an esteemed guest faculty. As a summer student, you will experience a program completely focused on improving your technique, artistry and confidence as a dancer. Daily classes will include ballet technique, pointe work, variations and pas de deux (dependent upon level), contemporary, Broadway style jazz, and conditioning. Our class sizes are kept small to ensure individual attention is given to all of our students. Dancers wishing to apply for this incredible summer experience can audition by emailing bvclasses@balletvictoria.ca with a brief description of their dance experience. Two photos will be required for dancers aged 8+.
*For students wishing to audition for Ballet Victoria’s Aspirant program, the summer intensive is mandatory.
Photo Requirements:
All new students aged 8+ must provide two photos with their audition application (does not have to be professional): First arabesque de côté position and tendu à la seconde en face.
